Solar Odyssey in "Nautic" boatshow in Paris

2010-12-04

Solar Odyssey, the electro-solar platform developed as the first French challenge to beat the Atlantic record and the first to achieve a world tour without any CO2 emission is being exhibited at the Salon Nautique boatshow in Paris.

After Lorient Multihull Show in April, where she has been unveiled, and Le Grand Pavois in La Rochelle in September 2010, the electro-solar trimaran Solar Odyssey accepts "le Nautic"’s invitation.  It opened today for its 50th year anniversary, and displays around 1200 exhibitors, 1400 brands.

"Le Nautic" has reserved a special place for environmental issues and renewable energies within Les Allées du Grenelle de la Mer[1]. This is genuinely in Solar Odyssey’s philosophy, which aims to exchange and raise awareness on our relationship to energy during its stops around the globe.

Solar Odyssey stages on her Altéad Augizeau trailer in front of the main entrance and will be unmissable for the few 250 000 visitors expected from the 4th to 12th December. Team Solar Odyssey will be at stand M100, hall 1, to explain the last technical evolutions such as the electro-solar platform with a manta-ray design.
