Lemer Pax / Oséo Excellence 2010

Created 40 years ago, Lemer Pax is one of the world’s specialists in radioprotection in the fields of medical imagery, radiotherapy, industry, research and the civil nuclear sector.

As a growth company, with an annual increase in sales of around 25%, it has a reputation for innovation, a high number of patents and projects.

Thanks to its performance, Lemer Pax was selected to take part in the Communauté Oséo Excellence 2010, a group of 1100 French companies which demonstrate promising performance and/or development potential (sales, employees).

Lemer Pax was voted company of the year by Oséo Pays Loire of its innovation and potential.

Solar Odyssey, an innovative electro-solar powered trimaran, is in perfect keeping with this ethos. It was developed by Lemer Pax. This project and the challenges it presents fit in perfectly with the development of Lemer Pax’s activities. The common denominator is the protection of man in the medical, nuclear and now the maritime milieu.

Solar Odyssey sets out to be a laboratory whose objective in the long term as data is recorded, to arrive at an industrial level of development. Solar energy is without doubt among the most realistic of tomorrow’s ecological alternatives for the propulsion of sea-going vessels.
